The game between the NC Dinos and the LG Twins took place at Jamsil Stadium in Seoul on the 22nd.

LG tied the game 4-4 at the bottom of the eighth inning with Kim Hyun-soo's timely hit with two outs and runners on the second base. In the bottom of the ninth inning, leadoff hitter Park Dong-won hit a tying solo home run over the left-center fence as NC closer Ryu Jin-wook's first pitch cutter (slider) rushed to the center. Again, it was a dramatic 5-5 tie.

LG's Koo Bon-hyuk hit a double to the left-center to end the game. The LG bench made Park Hae-min a sacrifice bunt, making it a chance for him to get a point with one out and third base. Now, he can score runs in various ways, even if it is not a ground ball, a sacrifice fly or a hit that is rolling next to NC's infielder who is defending forward.

Lee Young-bin joined the batter's box. Oh Ji-hwan, who was excluded from the starting lineup on the day, was on the bench. However, LG did not use Oh Ji-hwan as a substitute for an absolute chance. 

Oh Ji-hwan's injury? Because he believed in Lee Young-bin? No. LG could not use a substitute card at Lee Young-bin's at-bat during the previous player change. If he couldn't finish and went into extra time, he couldn't leave out Lee Young-bin for defense. There were no more fielders to run. 

On the day, LG's starting players were Hong Chang-ki (right wing), Moon Sung-joo (designated hitter), Austin (first baseman), Moon Bo-kyung (third baseman), Kim Hyun-soo (left wing), Park Dong-won (poster), Koo Bon-hyuk (poster), Park Hae-min (middle fielder), and Shin Min-jae (second baseman). Oh Ji-hwan, Lee Young-bin (infielder), Song Chan-ui, Choi Won-young (outfielder) and Lee Ju-heon (poster) were on the bench waiting list.

Song Chan-eui played as a pinch hitter in Shin Min-jae's at-bat in the bottom of the seventh inning, and Song Chan-eui was replaced by Lee Young-bin (second baseman) when he defended in the eighth inning. When Koo Bon-hyuk hit a double and got on base in the bottom of the ninth inning, LG replaced Koo Bon-hyuk as the fastball Choi Won-young as a pinch runner. When going into overtime, Oh Ji-hwan had to enter the shortstop position. 

If Oh Ji-hwan is used as a substitute in Lee Young-bin's at-bat with one out and third base in the bottom of the ninth inning and fails to win the game, there will be no player to see the second baseman in the extended 10th inning. Catcher Lee Joo-heon should step up, or someone from among the pitchers should play. 

In two balls, Lee swung, struck, and fouled three folk balls, and struck out swinging on his sixth fastball. When Lee struck out, Oh took his glove and warmed up by playing catch ball in the bullpen. He prepared to play in the Major Leagues. Hong Chang-ki walked and got on base, but Moon was out due to a grounder to the pitcher and went into extra time. 

In the top of the 10th inning of extra time, Oh Ji-hwan entered the shortstop's defense. LG, who missed the opportunity to finish, became 5-6 in the top of the 10th inning when Jang Hyun-sik was hit by back-to-back doubles by Kwon Hee-dong and Kim Hwi-jip after one out. Bae Jae-joon came up as a relief pitcher and prevented additional runs, but lost in the bottom of the 10th inning when Austin, Moon Bo-kyung, and Kim Hyun-soo's central hit line withdrew due to a three-out offense. 

LG suffered its first consecutive defeat of the season. Had Oh not considered overtime and thrown Oh Ji-hwan as a substitute, would the team have ended the game.
